“New Kids on The Block, Nirvana, Fatboy slim, walkman, Window 98, winamp player, Blok M,” you named it, those are all the “brands” from the 90’s popular culture.
Even in the 90’s workplace, you had to get out of your chair, find the sketch book, agenda, turn on the radio, look at the disc of “Encarta” as an instant encyclopedia on your bulky PC.
Today… is a different age! -
In current time, the era of work from anywhere, online gatherings, and virtual meetings, you can defines the office space more broader: as a collaborative and communication space rather than physical interaction. One of the prominent place is The Executive Centre.
The Executive Centre (TEC) located in Pacific Century Place (PCP) building in Jakarta. They are offering an unique concept of workplace. It is a premium based products: serviced and virtual offices, co-working, meeting, events, and lounge. “Factors that can impact productivity are: internet connection, ambiences, compact furniture, and the system of communication. And we provide all in a proper way,” said Ary Arnold, from TEC.
For example, Arnold showed me the mechanism of the furniture/workstation. The table designed with multiple adjuster for compactness. You can set the height of the table to fit to your gestures. The private offices had a stunning view complete with the self service pantry with various snacks/drinks and other complements.
Me, personally really enjoy the lounge. A fully equipped lounge area can be the place where great ideas, networking, entertainment, and innovation are born! While at work you may need a short breaks to disrupt your mind and develop a new ideas.
What a present!
So, what does your future (workplace) look like? Maybe you can visit TEC for more further information :)
