In April, 17 to 19th, 2024, Spasia, Royal Netherlands Embassy, and Rainforest Alliance, made an event about a collaboration in Bali. It titled “Sustainable Development Goals Partnership : Link and Learn”.
Held by IdeKu, the event started with the opening from 3 spokesperson: Pak Putra, Pak Joost, and Ibu Laura. They were told about the importance of engaging dialogue with different perspectives. Then, the session continued to a talk show about “Dutch Policy Perspective”. This session has an interesting point from Ianthe Nieuwenhuis. She said about Public Private Partnership (PPP) and the challenges from political issues: the transition of power after election, for example.

The next day, we went to Tabanan. And here are the snaps from digital graphic recording at the time:

Pak Nyoman, farmer, told about autotrophic bacteria

The participants

In Tabanan, we were enjoy the landscapes, especially the participant from Cambodia. “In Cambodia every fields are flat. There is no terrace field in our country,” Cambodian participant’s said.

In the last day, there were an interesting session from 3 spokesperson: Miriam, Prima, and Jan. Prima said about youth generation in agriculture. “The parents are don’t want their children to become a farmer,” she said. And Miriam told about her latest projects in Indonesia and Philippines based on feasibility studies by artificial intellegence approach.

So, what collaborations might we see in the future?

Thank you, Karen, Bejo, and Paulo!
