interview with #graphicrecorder : Laura V Dearmas

Laura started as a graphic recorder since her friends (who loved her drawing a lot) requires her to did a collaboration as a #graphicdocumentary. 

There are an influence on lettering and comics in Laura's style. Trying to achieve isometric finishes on the canvases. Playing with the dimensions and shadows of the illustrations. She mostly keep the illustrations in black and white. And here we are the complete interview :

Q : When you are working do you discuss or exchange ideas with your colleagues? 

A : As a graphic recorder the people can work indidually or with a team. So, when I have to work with a team, a meeting is visually held to share ideas and make it clear to everyone topics, like : What material to use? The colours, the style, the functions of each person, among others. And normally, in this meeting, the ideas of this event organizers also participate. In this way graphic documentation work is synchronized.

Q : Which of your projects has given you the most satisfaction? 

A : There have been many. The most impressive to have been when i have worked for innovation teams from cities halls and private organizations. The reason is that the work of the graphic facilitator becomes more active and becomes transcendental tool for the success of collaboration.

Q : You must get a lot of offers for collaboration. How did you decide which ones you want to take one? 

A : I have been captivated by the collaborative offerings on creativity. Innovation and social causes that have a work teams organized with vision.

Q : What did you want when you were a child? 

A : I wanted to be an artist and produce animated films.

A : What books do you read most? 

Q : I like adventure books, graphic novels, and startup

Q : Whar are you afraid of regarding this future? What are you optimistic about? 

A : That people do not value what is important, that sometimes worries me. But I'am optimistic because love is a very influental feeling and a guide. I belive in the love of people, and in their mobilizing power.
